With 34 years of hairdressing experience, Steph has established herself as a true expert. Her career has taken her around the globe, managing salons internationally and gaining imperative experience. One of her most significant achievements was working with Toni&Guy in Dublin, where she honed some of the finest skills in the industry. This journey has shaped Steph into the exceptional stylist, team leader, and business owner she is today.

Steph believes that continuous education is key to staying at the top, and she emphasises the importance of teamwork in creating a great salon environment where her passion and expertise shine through every day.

With over 30 years of experience in the hairdressing industry, Paula  has truly made her mark in the industry.  Her career has taken her overseas, where she managed salons and gained invaluable experience working alongside some of the most talented designers and stylists in the business.

Paula's ambition for her business and hairdressing is unmatched, and as a co-founder, she plays a key role in shaping the future of Luxe & Duke. Her passion  and dedication to excellence are evident in everything she does, making her a driving force behind the success of the salon.

Creative Stylist

Leanne has been a loyal and integral part of Luxe & Duke since the very beginning. With a wealth of knowledge and a huge clientele, she’s known as our resident blonde expert. Leanne’s passion for hairdressing lies in her ability to transform her clients whether it’s a complete revamp or just a subtle change, she knows how to make you look and feel amazing.

Leanne believes that great style builds confidence, and she combines creative colour with progressive cuts to achieve this.

Her dedication and expertise have made her a beloved stylist in our Grey Lynn salon.

With 20 years of hairdressing experience under her belt, Monique brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to every client she meets. Her passion for hair is matched only by her love for learning, as she’s always eager to embrace new education and techniques.

Monique believes in celebrating the natural beauty of each client’s hair. She’s dedicated to teaching her clients how to make the most of their natural hair, so styling becomes a simple and enjoyable part of their routine—no long mornings required.

Monique’s fun and energetic approach to hairdressing makes her a treasured stylist at our Grey Lynn salon.

Stylist

With six years of experience and an undeniable flair for her craft, Jess is one of our rising stars — combining technical precision with a creative eye. Constantly refining her artistry, she brings a fresh, modern approach to both cutting and colouring, with a particular passion for all things blonde. Her talent also extends to effortlessly elegant updos and party styles that turn heads.

A perfect mix of skill and personality, Jess’s love for fast cars and cats gives her a vibrant edge — yet she still embraces her softer, feminine side.

We’re incredibly proud to have guided Jess through her training and qualifications here at the salon. Her dedication, creativity, and passion are a true reflection of the exceptional stylist she has become.

Assistant

Missy brings energy to our team making every visit to the salon a delightful experience. Missy is honing her skills in hairdressing and provides the team with her calm and supportive work ethic. 

Known for a great flat white and the most fabulous head massage and ensures every client has a great experience in salon. Missy has a magic touch along with the cutest smile.
